Speech Pathologist - Rehab Services - PRN

Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.
Minimum Education
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Master's Degree in Communications Disorders.
Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or must have passed the national exam and be in the process of completing the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum of three (3) years experience as a clinician in an inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation program.Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Required Skills
Certifications:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
Required Licenses
North Carolina, United States Speech-language Pathologist
Current license in North Carolina.
