Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.
Inspects, tests, and maintains records for all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors, and other fire/safety-related equipment and systems.
Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage.
Minimum Education High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Graduate of trade school or technical college preferred.
Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Licenses Electrician Facility electricians must have and maintain licensure with the North Carolina Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors.
Required Skills Facility Tech II requires sprinkler certification.
